参观兰州军区第一测绘大队

作为地图学课程的一个实习内容,昨天(周二)带领三个班(GIS、城乡、地基)共86人参观了兰州军区第一测绘大队。我本人也是第一次进入大队院子。从50年建队以来,测绘大队50多年时间做了大量的工作,获得了很多荣誉。参观内容包括航测队、数字制图、海德堡印刷系统(价值850万以上的好东西)、大队发展历程和业务成果展示,最后部队老师与同学们进行了40分钟的交流。参观很成功,感谢测绘大队的支持、LY教授和NYY老师的帮助。

盘旋路豹豪ktv火灾隐患严重

忙了几天的会议组织,总算大功告成。大家都十分的辛苦,于是到附近的豪豹ktv唱歌
放松一下(16号晚上)。大概1点左右出来,发现电梯坏了,停上一楼不能上不能下。
前台让等,10分钟后仍没有动静。有同事就开始找安全出口,发现唯一的楼梯安全出口
被很“安全”的大大的链条给锁住了。歌厅的小伙们好像还不愿意开这个锁,跟前台说
了n句废话才开了这个锁,开始楼下的人也开始用这个楼梯向上走了,而且楼道里堆满
了杂物,没有灯光。

我们几个没喝多的回头一想,真是好险!如果出火情,在上面消费的百来号人估计就只
有跳窗子了,在四楼向下跳,估计够玄,何况我还不清楚他们的窗口在哪里。火情的时
候电梯不能用,这是常识,他们居然连安全通道也锁了,而且情况十分糟糕。手头有几
个记者朋友的电话,想着给他曝曝光,但一想都已经凌晨,大家正睡的香,先饶了。

上来消费的人要想清楚了,不要为了玩的一时高兴,将自己小命陪进去了,呵呵。我
想,从此我可以将豹豪ktv划入黑名单了。

Coming G-WADI’07 Lanzhou workshop

本次会议由联合国教科文组织和中国科学院寒区旱区环境与工程研究所共同资助,由寒旱所主办。共有27个国家超过50名本领域的科学家参加。会议包括两个议程,11-15日的G-WADI地下水建模研讨会,包括1天的黑河流域野外考察,16-17日的亚洲网络会议,黑河流域是试验流域亚洲网络成员。
会议地点在中国科学院寒区旱区环境与工程研究所。

南方的水质问题十分严重

最近无锡太湖水污染问题,导致自来水恶臭,纯净水从8块涨到50块。其实据我知道的,南方的大多数城市都存在严重的水质问题。我们小时候,还经常在河里游泳,90年代初河水就发臭,特别一到夏天简直受不了那种味道。据说地方政府也大力在整治,可是好像未见太好的效果。北方缺水,南方污染,说穿了都是好水的量的问题,普遍存在呀,不由大家不重视,无锡就是一个摆在前面的例子。
