When I install ArcGIS 9.2 developer SDK for .net framework 2.0 SP4, it will be stuck with time remaining 0 sec. So strange. It turns out to be caused by VC# express edition. A trick is to remove VCExpress process in Task Manager, thanks to contribution from ESRI forum posting. The installation will then continue.
Stupid ESRI.
I met a problem when I were running a routine in Command Line Window.
It closed the ArcMap. After then when I open ArcToolbox, everything gets empty.

Many effort to figure it out by looking through Internet. Solution is rather simple.
Go to the register, navigate to ESRI fold under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software
then rename ESRI to ESRI_old. (Actually you can delete it safely.)
Now they get back.
人呆在美国，家里人也不准备回南方老家，所以尽管早些时候看到南方雪灾的报道，也都没有兴致看究竟。今天有朋友给我讲雪灾十分严重，很多人被困回不了家。我又翻看了天涯上的一些帖子，受影响面积很大，有上万人被困在高速路上，有达4，5天之久。很难想象这么冷的天气被困在路上该如何办? 火车上据说一瓶水都卖到10来块。湖南等好些地方物价都涨的很高。据说广州站积了50万人出不去。
有人建议今年的春晚可以改成赈灾捐款义演了，举双手同意。
要不春晚上某主持人罗列贺电时，再加一句，被困路上的人民代表给晚会发来贺电，祝大家新年快乐，云云。也能显示祖国强盛、歌舞升平。
看到温总理跑湖南慰问，想到以前一句玩笑话，中国不是说全部当官的都是贪官，胡书记温总理至少不会贪。看到总理的被困群众估计也可以稍为安慰一点吧。
